Two women, aged 35 and 24, were arrested on suspicion of having set fire to a vehicle that "was partially destroyed" in Vila Real de Santo António in the early hours of last Sunday, March 6th.
According to the Judiciary Police (PJ), it was also found that, a few minutes earlier, there were two more attempts to fire, in other vehicles belonging to the same man that were parked next to his house.
The detainees will still be presented to the judge.
The inquiry is directed by the Vila Real Section of the Department of Investigation and Criminal Action of Faro.
