Continuing Care: ARS/Algarve renews contracts with 9 units

Algarve currently has 74 convalescent beds, 142 beds for medium-term internments and rehabilitation and 316 beds for long-term internments and maintenance.

Five Medium-Term and Rehabilitation Units, two for Convalescence and two for Long-Term and Maintenance, within the scope of the National Network of Integrated Continuing Care in the Algarve, renewed, this Friday, March 4, the program contracts with the Regional Administration of Health in the Algarve.

The signing ceremony was attended by Paulo Morgado, president of ARS/Algarve, Margarida Flores, director of the District Center for Faro from the Social Security Institute, Fernanda Faleiro, coordinator of the Regional Coordination Team for Integrated Continued Care in the Algarve, and representatives of each of the Inpatient Units.

The Algarve region currently has, under the General Network, 74 convalescent beds, 142 beds for medium-term internments and rehabilitation and 316 beds for long-term internments and maintenance.

 

Units that renewed contracts:

2 Units of the Algarve Foundation for Social Development, one of Long Term and Maintenance and one of Medium Term and Rehabilitation;
1 Medium Duration and Rehabilitation Unit of Olhão, of the Cultural and Social Support Association of Olhão;
1 Medium Duration and Rehabilitation Unit in Loulé, of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Loulé;
2 Al-Vita, PRO-FN, Health Services Units, one for Convalescence and one for Medium Duration and Rehabilitation in Portimão;
2 units of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Portimão, one for Convalescence and one for Medium Duration and Rehabilitation;
1 Long Term and Maintenance Unit in Algoz, at Lar Quinta de São Sebastião.
