The Easter holidays will be “fully” active again in Castro Marim, between the 11th and 18th of April.
The Castro-Marinense Chamber will resume the “Easter Active Holidays” project, after having promoted an exclusively online edition in 2021, and investing “in dynamic and interactive activities, but also adapted to the circumstances of the pandemic”.
In this edition, the activities focus «on the arts, promotion of healthy eating habits, physical activity and also recreational-cultural visits and traditional games. As an example, we mention the healthy eating workshops, judo, visits to the VRSA and Castro Marim Volunteer Fire Station, mountain biking and dance and theater workshops», according to the municipality.
The idea is «to occupy, in a playful and healthy way, the free time of young people's holidays and, at the same time, to support families, who are unable, for professional reasons, to accompany their students during school breaks, is the main objective of this initiative. , which should also take place during the summer holidays'.
The Chamber of Castro Marim asks parents/guardians “to test their students the day before or on the 11th of April before the start of activities”.
