The Municipality of the Left Block of Portimão today expressed "deep dismay" at the death of Ilídio Littlechinho. addressing «his family, friends and the Socialist Party of Portimão our heartfelt condolences».
The blockists, in a condolence note sent to the newspapers, emphasize that “Ilídio Littlechinho, mayor and president of the Portimão Parish Assembly, was an unavoidable figure linked to culture, sports, radio and the social causes of Portimão society. He was an illustrious figure, pleasant to deal with and respectful of everyone, regardless of political and other differences”.
Bloco de Esquerda/Portimão adds that “I admire your example of citizenship and wish your soul peace. And a lot of strength to all his family».
However, it is already known that the wake of Ilídio Littlechinho will take place in the Mortuary Chapels of Portimão, starting at 11:00 am tomorrow, March 31st.
The religious ceremony will be held at the Colégio Church at 15:00, following the funeral procession to the Portimão cemetery.
