Lower Commerce Association Faro launches campaign “A load of work”

Campaign will last until March 19

"A load of work". This is the motto of a campaign to raise awareness of the Associação do Comércio da Baixa de Faro (ADCZHF) launched to alert service providers and commerce in general to comply with loading and unloading schedules. 

In a note sent to the press, the association explains that «regular supply to commercial establishments is, among others, an essential and priority aspect associated with economic activities and that, with greater organization, the work of suppliers in this area will immediately be easier. of the city".

The campaign also aims to «value the exceptional leisure conditions in Baixa and provide a more qualified commercial environment to all its users».

According to the Municipal Regulations, loading or unloading is only allowed in pedestrian areas, from Monday to Friday, between 7:00 am and 10:00 am and between 19:00 pm and 21:00 pm and on Saturdays, between 7:00 am and 10:00 am. these services allowed on Sundays and holidays.

The awareness campaign will run until Saturday, March 19, and includes the distribution of information leaflets, the placement of informational posters and an action that involves the students of the Technical Course for Organization of Events at Escola Pinheiro e Rosa who will award diplomas of “Good Supplier” all the intervenients that comply with the schedules foreseen in the regulation.

The “A Load of Work!” is an organization of the Associação do Comércio da Baixa (ADCZHF) and has the support of the Municipality of Faro, of the Union of Parishes of Faro, ACRAL and the Pinheiro and Rosa School Group.
