Students Rodrigo Néné and Rodrigo Simão, from the Vila Real de Santo António School Group, were in 4th place in the national final of the “European Money Quiz” (EMQ) contest, which took place on Friday, the 25th, and involved 2500 students from 50 schools.
Students had to answer questions on the Kahoot platform on various topics in the areas of entrepreneurship, financial literacy (risk, inflation and savings), family budget management, online security, means of payment (cards, transfers and money) and financial mathematics.
In the internal final of the Vila-Realense school, the student Rodrigo Néné had been in first place and Rodrigo Simão was the runner-up.
Schools and colleges from all over the country were in competition with the aim of selecting the two best students at national level, to represent Portugal in the European competition in Brussels, to be held on the 10th of May. More than 600.000 students from 28 countries will compete for the EMQ European Champion title.
