Alte once again organizes the “Estrendal da Volta”, an initiative to support cyclists who will pass this Sunday, February 20, through the village of the municipality of Loulé on the last stage of the Algarve.
The “Standard” is organized by the coffee Germano BiciArte, partner of the Loulé Criativo project.
«This initiative consists of creating a clothesline for sweaters in the area near this cafe in Alte, uniting the community and showing support for the cyclists who are part of the Volta ao Algarve», explains the Câmara de Loulé.
The program includest-shirt customization workshop with artisan Vanessa Vinhais from the GadjoDilo project, at Casa do Artesão de Alte, traditional gastronomy and participation in the “Strendal”.
Participation in the workshop is free, with a maximum limit of 6 participants.

Program:
9:30 am – Meeting point at the Germano Biciarte Café in Alte.
10h00 – Workshop with Gadjodilo:
Customization of t-shirts using handmade stamps made from bicycle parts.
12:30 pm – Traditional Gastronomy Lunch at Germano BiciArte Café.
13:30 pm – Participation in the “Volta Estendal”: hang the personalized t-shirts on the clothesline and show your support for the “Volta ao Algarve” cyclists.
14h00 – Free tour of Aldeia de Alte to discover the points of interest (aspiring to) Algarvensis Geopark.
16:00 – Celebrate the passage of the “Volta ao Algarve”:
Cyclists pass in front of the Germano BiciArte Café.
