Competition aims to award the best innovative business projects developed by SMEs in the Algarve region

The 15 applications that make it to the final of the Innovative Business Projects INOVA Algarve 2.0 competition have already been selected by the jury, announced NERA – Business Association of the Algarve Region.

The jury meeting, which took place on 25 February, analyzed the 55 applications that completed Phase 2 of this initiative, having selected the 15 finalists:

This competition is part of the INOVA Algarve 2.0 Project and aims to reward the best innovative business projects developed by SMEs in the Algarve region, valuing cooperation between companies in the fields of RIS3 Algarve, which contribute to the development of new goods and services. , to increase productivity and/or value creation capacity.

In this Contest, the competitors with the five best Innovative Projects, in each of the following categories will be awarded:
Tourism and Agrifood | Prize: 5.000 euros
Tourism and ICT and/or Cultural and Creative Industries | Prize: 5.000 euros
Tourism and Sea | Prize: 5.000 euros
Tourism and Health | Prize: 5.000 euros
Tourism and Renewable Energies | Prize: 5.000 euros

The winner of the final of this contest will receive an additional prize of 5.000 euros.

The awarding of these prizes will take place on the 30th of March, at NERA's premises, within the scope of the INOVA Algarve 2.0 International Conference, following the final of this competition, which will take place on the same day and where each of the 15 applications above will be publicly presented. referred.

The INOVA Algarve 2.0 Project is developed, in co-promotion, by NERA – Business Association of the Algarve Region, by the University of Algarve, by AMAL – Algarve Intermunicipal Community and by Tertúlia Algarvia – Center for Knowledge in Culture and Traditional Food in the Algarve.
