The deadline for submitting applications for support of 12,6 million euros, within the scope of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), for the green, digital and safety transition in fisheries ends this Tuesday, February 15th.

This support covers the commitment to innovation, modernization of processes, reduction of the carbon footprint and the circular economy of fishing, aquaculture, processing and marketing, as well as in fishing ports.

The notice in question has a global allocation of 12,6 million euros, with the aim of selecting 40 applications for the conclusion of financing contracts.

Applications must be submitted through the Agriculture and Fisheries Financing Institute (IFAP).

The PRR, which runs until 2026, intends to implement a set of reforms and investments with a view to recovering economic growth. In addition to having the objective of repairing the damage caused by covid-19, this plan also aims to support investments and generate employment.

The total allocation of the PRR exceeds 16.600 million euros, distributed across its three structuring dimensions – resilience (11.125 million euros), climate transition (3.059 million euros) and digital transition (2.460 million euros).
