Participation in the “Circuito do Coração”, the promotion of workshops for children and the return of conversations around books, in “Traz Outro Livro Also”, are some of the initiatives that mark the February and March programming of the Folha de Medronho, based in Loulé.
The association's activities begin this Saturday, on the 12th of February, as part of the “Circuito do Coração – Poesia nas esplanadas”, an initiative of the Municipality of Loulé to celebrate Valentine's Day and Saint Valentine's Day.
Between the 21st of February and the 5th of March, «we crossed the sea again towards São Tomé e Príncipe», to finalize the coordination of the performative exercise “Mionga”, a co-production with Cacau_ Casa das Artes Criação Ambientes e Utopias.
In addition to the Loulé Chamber, the project has a new supporter: the “Lendias d'Encantar” Company, from Beja.
On the 26th of February, 5th and 12th of March, the Folha de Medronho association will promote the project “1001 FOLHAS” – Creative Workshop for Children.
«Inspired by the Segni Mossi project, and exploring visual art and movement with groups of children during the last six years, Nicole Lissy decides to continue this experience of connections between drawing (marks and traits that persist in different media) and movement ( non-persistent, and can be registered through images or its trail)», highlights the association.
With the workshops for children between 6 and 12 years old, Folha de Medronho intends to «inspire them to continue experimenting with the proposed activities at home, with their families or friends».
These initiatives will take place in the rehearsal room/space Folha de Medronho, in Loulé, in partnership with Amarelarte – Associação Cultural e Recreativa.

Closing the month of February, on the 26th, at 16:00, the association returns to the initiative “Bring Another Book Also”.
With the moderation of Ana Poeta, «the delicious conversations around books, authors and readings» return to the Association's headquarters, in Loulé.
The Folha de Medronho association invites all interested parties to join «with a book, a few words, and another friend too», warning that the space is limited and that registration is required through the e-mail of the Medronho Leaf.
