The Government will convene a new meeting of Infarmed by videoconference for Wednesday to assess the situation of the pandemic in Portugal, with experts and parties. The meeting takes place at a time when the numbers indicate that the peak of the fifth wave of Covid-19 has already been exceeded.
Last week, experts were preparing proposals for the Government to ease measures to combat and control the Covid-19 pandemic.
Specialists “are considering what changes should be introduced in view of the evolution of the pandemic”, declared the Prime Minister, António Costa, last week, alluding to the possibility of some restrictions being lifted soon.
