IP invests 2,1 million to improve platforms at stations and stops in the Algarve

The submission of proposals for tender is now underway.

Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP) launched a public tender, with an investment of 2,1 million euros, to improve platforms at stations and stops in the Algarve. 

The work to be carried out aims to equip the platforms of the Estômbar-Lagoa Grande, Alcantarilha, Mexilhoeira Grande, Luz de Tavira, Tavira, Castro Marim and Monte Gordo, «with the appropriate length and height for the rolling stock to be used on the Algarve Line», explains IP.

The contract will involve an estimated cost of 2,1 million euros and has an execution period of 180 days.
