“Hamlet” takes the stage at Lethes Theater in Faro

The play will be presented on the 26th of February

The play “Hamlet” will take the stage at the Lethes Theater in Faro, on the 26th of February, at 21:00, «a story of great worldwide success», performed by the Braga Theater Company.

According to the play's synopsis, «this is a performance about the perception of modern reality, therefore about borders» that addresses «the possibility of looking at this reality from two poles of this perception».

The play “Hamlet” will have four actors, two men and two women.

«Hamlet and Ofelia understand the world as virtual. Hamlet's mother and Hamlet's stepfather understand the world as real. After the collision of these two forms of perception, representatives of the virtual understanding of the world physically die and the representatives of the real understanding remain alive. They outlive their own children», says Teatro Lethes.

«This was the starting point for the show that, in the meantime, has evolved… it is a process».

Tickets cost 10 euros and can be purchased through online ticket office, or through the theater box office, open from Tuesday to Friday, from 14 pm to 00 pm, and on show days, from 18 pm to 00 pm and from 14 pm to 00 pm.
