The Lagos Zoo will be at the Forum Algarve's FNAC, in Faro, on the 6th of February, Sunday, at 16:00, to present the first issue of the book series “Histórias do Zoo”. The first chapter is about a turtle and his 50th birthday party.
“These are stories set at the Zoo, with the animals at the Zoo and inspired by the Lagos Zoo. They aim to bring children closer to animals and convey the message of the role of modern zoos in nature conservation” explains Sofia Briosa Escheltinga, author of the book and biologist of the park located in Barão de São João.
