Docapesca announced this Thursday, January 13, the award of the work to install a new saltwater pumping plant in the fishing port of Olhão, worth 93 thousand euros.
According to Docapesca, the contract «contains the installation of an automatic pressure pump equipped with several multistage centrifugal pumps», as well as «the assembly of new pipes for the conduction of salt water and new electrical panels».
«The remodeling aims to make the most of the existing infrastructure and is due to the particularities of salt water, which require some care and specific characteristics», he concludes.
