Pedro Pinto (Enough): «I will be the deputy that the Algarve needed»

Sul Informação spoke with the new deputy

«I will be the deputy that the Algarve needed». This is the reaction of Pedro Pinto, head of the Chega list for the constituency of Faro, to his election as parliamentarian, in the Legislatives of this Sunday, January 30th.

In statements to the Sul Informação, Pedro Pinto confessed to being «very happy» with this historic election: the first of André Ventura's party for the Algarve.

In total, Chega got 12,30% in the region (23.988 votes) and was the third most voted political force.

«The Algarve showed that it wanted to change, despite the victory of the Socialist Party», Pedro Pinto told our newspaper.

Despite not being from the region, the head of the list assured that he will be “every week in the Algarve” and that “a Studies Office is already being prepared, together with the District and the elected councilors we have in the region”.

Some of the flags that Pedro Pinto says he will have will be «the abolition of tolls on the A22 and the creation of the Algarve Central Hospital».

«I will be the voice of all Algarve people», he concluded.
