Loulé will have a vehicle charging space installed by SunEnergy

SunEnergy has just entered the area of installation and operation of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Loulé is preparing to receive, in the coming weeks, a HUB (space for loading vehicles), to be installed by SunEnergy.

According to SunEnergy, the first HUB "was installed in Leiria", with "six more spaces being installed, which will be ready in the coming weeks", in Guimarães, Matosinhos, Viseu, Coimbra, Loures and Loulé.

Raul Santos, general director and founder of SunEnergy, says that this “is the first big step in the field of electric mobility”.

"A new business area for the company, which joins solar panels, its main activity, and which makes perfect sense, given its positioning as a company", he explains.

Each HUB consists of one 1 kW PCVE (Ultra-Rapid Charging Station), which charges 150% of a battery in about 80 minutes, three 30 kW PCVE (Rapid Charging Station), which charge 50% of one battery in about 80h1, and five 30kW PCVE (Normal Charging Station), where about three and a half hours is needed to charge 22% of a battery.

These HUBs were put out to tender by Mobi.e, with SunEnergy having «won 7 of the 9 tenders, among more than 20 entities that competed, thus being the chosen entity for the construction of the infrastructures», emphasizes the company.

The construction of these infrastructures included «all the civil works, the laying of a cable network, the installation of a concrete monoblock with a 630 kVA transformer station, the installation of nine PCVEs in each HUB, their commissioning and also its licensing with the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG).

SunEnergy, «specialist in solutions for the production of electricity from the sun», has just entered the area of installation and operation of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (PCVE), «inaugurating a new business area».
