Legislative: Doctors want proper times and places for isolated and disclaimer

Government announced yesterday that people isolated because of covid-19 will be able to vote in person in the elections on the 30th.

Public health doctors recommend proper times and places for voting in the Legislatures for those who are in isolation, to avoid crossing people, and suggest an exemption from civil liability until the end of February.

In a statement released after the Government has announced that people isolated because of covid-19 will be able to vote in person in the elections on the 30th, the National Association of Public Health Physicians (ANMSP) underlines the “avoidable precedent” of breaking the isolation and says that this situation will “condition new difficulties for the professional practice of public health doctors”.

«Adding to the lack of resources and logistical solutions to respond to the number of cases of SARS-CoV-2/covid-19 infection caused by the Ómicron variant, it will recommend to all its associates that they excuse themselves from civil liability in their exercise professional and all legal conflicts arising from acts of the Health Authority until the end of February 2022», underlines the note.
