Helder Carrasqueira publishes book on “International Hospitality”

Helder Carrasqueira, professor at the University of Algarve, has just published the book “Hotelaria Internacional”.

In a Current issue/Grupo Almedina, the professor at the Escola Superior de Gestão, Hotelaria e Turismo and researcher at the Center for Research, Development and Innovation in Tourism (CiTUR) talks about the functioning of the hospitality market in the international context-

The work addresses aspects such as ways of expanding abroad and insertion in business networks, distribution through multiple direct and indirect channels; performance measurement through performance indicators, risk in international business and a comparison of the internationalization of Iberian chains.

The book is also concerned with presenting the content in a pedagogical and accessible reading perspective.

Increasing knowledge about International Hospitality is the challenge that this book, which had the support of the Foundation for Science and Technology, poses to current entrepreneurs, investors, hotel directors, specialized technicians, researchers, professors and students.
