Access to large-scale events (sports, cultural or corporate) is dependent on the presentation of a negative test for Covid-19, which, according to the Directorate-General for Health (DGS), may be a self-test carried out at the entrance.

Last week, the Prime Minister announced, at a press conference at the end of the Council of Ministers, that as of today, mandatory negative test will be required for access to major events for those who have not had a booster dose for more than 14 days. .

In the guidance on large-scale events (sports, cultural, corporate and others), updated on Sunday, the DGS defines that access to these events is dependent on the presentation of a test or self-test, “held at the moment, at the door of the establishment that if you intend to attend, under the supervision and verification of the workers responsible for accessing these spaces”.

There are exceptions: as stated in guidance 014/2021, those who present a digital Covid certificate from the European Union in the form of a recovery certificate, who demonstrate that they have been vaccinated for at least 14 days, are exempt from submitting a negative test for access to major events. with a booster dose and anyone under 12 years old.

The DGS guidance defines large-scale events as “those that bring together or can bring together from five thousand people in an open place or of a thousand people in a closed place”.

In this type of event, “it is strongly recommended not to eat any food or drink inside the rooms”.

Last week, the Government also announced that, as of today, access to cultural shows and events with scheduled seats would again be dependent on the presentation of a digital certificate or negative test.

The DGS guideline 028/2020, referring to cultural events, updated on Sunday, establishes that access to cultural events depends on the presentation of a Covid digital certificate from the European Union, proof of vaccination “that attests to the complete vaccination schedule, for at least 14 years. days”, proof of a test with a negative result or self-test, “carried out at the moment, at the door of the establishment you intend to attend, under the supervision and verification of the workers responsible for access to these spaces”.

Also here, “it is strongly recommended not to eat any food or drinks inside the rooms, and the use of a face mask is mandatory”, which means that the sale of popcorn is allowed in movie theaters.
