CDU was behind the PSD and arrived in Silves

The CDU was only the fourth most voted political force in Silves, a municipality that has a communist autarchy, but where the most voted party turned out to be the PS. 

In total, the Socialists had 6150 votes (equivalent to 38,95%). The PSD, on the other hand, came in second, with 21,15% (3.340 votes).

Chega managed to be the third most voted political force in Silves (13,54%, with 2.138 votes).

The CDU, on the other hand, only collected 8,66% of the votes (1.368). The Left Bloc came in fifth (5,40%, with 852 votes) and, in sixth, was the Liberal Initiative (4,12%, with 650 votes).

In Silves, 15.789 people voted. Abstention stood at 47,98%.
