The Route of the São Brás de Alportel Nativity Scenes, which are part of several areas of the municipality, can still be traveled until this Thursday, January 6th, Epiphany.
These cribs were born "from the hands of associations, entities, schools, commercial establishments and the entire community", says the City Council.
Until this Thursday, cribs on display at the Museu do Traje, at Santa Casa da Misericórdia (with children's cribs and at the Home for the Elderly), at the Parises Social Center, at the Cabeca do Velho Park Viewpoint, can be seen. Alportel Museum Center, in the Corotelo Kindergarten, in the Volunteer Fire Station, in the Municipal Library, in the Igreja Matriz, while in the atrium of the São Brás Cineteatro you can also discover the nativity scenes created by 16 artisans who with different materials and inspirations accepted the challenge of the Municipality and participate in this exhibition.
All cribs are free to visit.
