Portimonense was unable to counteract FC Porto's favoritism

Portimonense lost by 0-3 against FC Porto, in a game of the 13th round of the I League of football, played this Friday, December 3rd, in Portimão. 

The Algarvians entered the game well and could have scored in the 5th minute. Aylton won a ball in the depth, tried to pass Mbemba but the ball fell to Fabrício.

The striker almost scored the goal, but Diogo Costa made the spot and saved.

On the FC Porto side, the first chances came from Luis Díaz, on minutes 12 and 13. In the first, the shot was saved by Samuel, while in the second, Portimonense's defense cut at the right moment.

At the end of the first half, Sérgio Conceição's team scored in an unlucky move by Pedro Sá. Diaz took a free-kick, the ball hit the captain of Portimonense and went in (45+4′).

In the second half, the Algarve had a good opportunity in the 65 minute, when it was still 1-0, but Fali Candé's shot found opposition from Diogo Costa.

He didn't score Portimonense, he scored FC Porto. At 70′, Vitinha, one of the best on the field, scored the second of the white and blues, in a good move by Sérgio Conceição's team.

Minutes later, at 75′, Otávio scored a great goal, in a hat to Samuel.

With this defeat, Portimonense adds the same 20 points and occupies the 6th place in the I League of football. In the next journey, the Algarvians move to Moreirense's terrain.
