A 28-year-old young man was arrested this Monday, December 20, for theft of 70 kilos of avocado from an agricultural property in the municipality of Albufeira.
According to the GNR, the military received a complaint and, when they went to the scene, they detained the young man in the act.
The suspect was constituted as a defendant and the facts were referred to the Judicial Court of Albufeira.
The GNR, within the scope of the “Campo Seguro 2021” operation, has, since the 1st of June, carried out patrolling, awareness-raising and inspection actions.
