José Pedro Caçorino, former councilor at the Portimão Chamber, is the head of the CDS list for the constituency of Faro in the Legislatives of January 30th.
The name was announced this Wednesday, December 15, by Francisco Rodrigues dos Santos, president of the centrists. In the last Legislatives, the CDS had nominated, as head of the list, Lisbon's João Rebelo.
An insurance professional, aged 60, José Pedro Caçorino was a candidate for the Portimão Chamber in 2017, having lost to Isilda Gomes.
In this year's Municipalities, Caçorino, who was already president of the CDS/Algarve, ran for the Parish Council of Portimão, but also lost.
