Cotrim Figueiredo campaigns in Faro, Odemira and Évora

Party runs again for Legislatures

João Cotrim Figueiredo, president of the Liberal Initiative (L), participates this Wednesday and Thursday, 22 and 23 December, in campaign actions in Faro, Odemira and Évora.

This Wednesday, at 13 pm, João Cotrim Figueiredo has lunch with several local businessmen at the Ecork Hotel Évora, in Évora. The objective of the initiative, which will also have the presence of the IL candidate from the Évora district Maria João Cabral, will be to listen to businessmen, listen to their concerns and difficulties with current policies.

Also on December 22, at 16:30 pm, João Cotrim Figueiredo will be at the Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Algarve for a meeting with the Board of Directors.

This meeting, according to IL, «has the objective of demonstrating the concern of the Liberal Initiative with the lack of capacity of hospital units in the Algarve region».

"It also intends to understand local difficulties, such as the difficulty in hiring and retaining professionals, which puts the emergency service in various specialties at risk (pediatrics, gynecology and obstetrics)", he adds.

For the rest, recently, the party says that it carried out a survey of the population, which concludes that health and the lack of capacity of health units represent the greatest concern of the inhabitants of the district of Faro.

Finally, on Thursday, December 23, at 10:30 am, João Cotrim Figueiredo will visit a farm, Fruta Divina (Monte das Lagrimas 1501), in Odemira.

"This action will make it possible to know the living conditions of migrants who work in agricultural exploration, as well as to know the reality of the agricultural sector, which occupies about 60% of the population of Odemira", concludes the Liberal Initiative.
