Portimão Municipal Assembly debates the 2022 budget, taxes and fees

The Municipal Assembly of Portimão will meet for its 5th Ordinary Session of 2021, on December 22, at 21 pm, in the Auditorium of the Municipal Museum of Portimão.

The program of this session of AM Portimonense is extensive (see the full notice here) and includes discussion and voting on the House Budget 2022 and the Major Plan Options 2022-2026, as well as the Personnel Map and Annual Recruitment Plan.

The municipal deputies will then debate and vote on the amount to be collected from taxes (IMI and IRS), as well as the surcharge, maintenance of the suspension of the application of the phasing of the value of municipal fees in force and the Municipal Fee for Rights of Way.

On the table, there will also be discussion and voting on the authorization of the Multiannual Commitment regarding the Contract for the “Museographic Execution of the Salva-Vidas de Alvor Interpretive Center”, as well as other multiannual commitments.

The Municipal Assembly will also discuss and vote on a series of issues related to the functioning and functions of EMARP – Portimão Municipal Water and Waste Company.

A representative of the Presidents of the Parish Councils will also be elected to integrate the Municipal Council of Education of Portimão, as well as two others to integrate the Municipal Commission for Integrated Management of Rural Fires.

A representative of the Municipal Assembly will also be appointed to integrate the ACES Barlavento – Grouping of Barlavento Health Centers, as well as others, from each of the political forces, to integrate the Municipal Youth Council of Portimão. Finally, the Committee for the revision of the Municipal Assembly's Rules of Procedure will be voted on.

In view of the State of Calamity and pursuant to the Council of Ministers Resolution No. 157/2021, of 27/11, the members of the Municipal Assembly, the Municipal Executive and the participating public must hold a valid digital certificate of vaccination or recovery for COVID -19.

Participants who have not been vaccinated or whose certificate is not valid must carry a negative test certificate (PCR test carried out within 72 hours before the start of the session; antigen test carried out within the last 48 hours).

Public participation is subject to the capacity of 10 available places.
