Algarve strengthens its position in the national organs of the Order of Economists

In the Algarve, Luís Coelho was re-elected as coordinator of the Regional Delegation

Carlos Manso, Adriano Pimpão and Pedro Pimpão from the Algarve were elected to the national bodies of the Ordem dos Economistas, whose elections were held on December 3, with António Mendonça being elected as the new President.

Two candidates were presented to this election for Bastonário, Pedro Reis, for List A, and António Mendonça, for List B, with list B being the winner.

Integrating the same list, Carlos Manso was elected to the National Board, Adriano Pimpão as president of the Supervisory and Disciplinary Board and Pedro Pimpão as member of the Representative Assembly.

Pedro Pimpão and Carlos Manso will be part of Organs national bodies, after having been co-founders and having belonged to the Regional Directorate of the Regional Delegation of the Order of Economists in the Algarve.

At the same time, elections were held for the Regional Delegations of the Order of Economists, with Luís Coelho being reappointed as coordinator of the Regional Delegation for a second term.

According to Pedro Pimpão, this election increases the responsibility towards the Algarve's members and towards the region, aiming to strengthen the capacity of the Regional Delegation and the National Directorate in the discussion of the Algarve's development model and the application of the PRR with a view to that development.
