VRSA Schools Group is the only Algarve to be present at the Young Entrepreneurs Show

Three projects selected for the national competition

The Vila Real de Santo António Schools Group (AEVRSA) is the only school in the Algarve that has seen its projects selected to participate in the Young Entrepreneurs Show, which has been running since yesterday and ends today, the 3rd, always in virtual form.

48 projects from all over the country participate in this national exhibition, most of them presented by young university students. Three of these projects were nominated by AEVRSA.

Thus, Paula Gonçalves and Rosa Ramos, third-year students of the Professional Child Support Course, created the «Baby Fast Shop», an application that allows you to place orders for baby products by catalogue, in addition to providing explanatory videos on topics of interest .

Marta Martins, a student of the same course, promoted the «Cantinho da Igualdade», presenting solutions to help overcome obstacles, social and psychological help from students and teachers, and support for immigrants.

Érica Carvalho, a 2nd year student of the Professional Reception Course, promoted the “Mask2Glasses” project, creating a piece that is placed between the mask and the nose, to prevent the glasses from fogging up.

In the Schools Grouping, the project is coordinated by the AEVRSA Entrepreneur's Club, which develops the practice “Learning by Doing”, fostering in young people the analytical capacity, reflection, expression and argumentation capacity, critical spirit and creativity in detection of business opportunities, always based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

This Entrepreneur Club is run by professors Luís Neves and António Condessa, with the participation of professor Nelson Soares.

The competition, organized by the Youth Foundation, aims to promote creative and social entrepreneurship, fostering the generation of innovative ideas and businesses, thus encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit of young people in secondary education, rewarding innovation and creativity.
