This Saturday, Portimonense beat Belenenses SAD by 2-0, in a match that marked a return to winning ways at home – something that hadn't happened since September – and also the return of Shoya Nakajima to goals with the Alvinegra shirt.

Belenenses SAD even seemed to have started better, but Portimonense was the first team to reach the goal. Fali Candé started on the left, crossed low and Nakajima, at the edge of the area, received and fired, with his right foot, to make it 1-0.

The goal was good for Portimonense and, at 15 minutes, Imbula shot from the edge of the area, the ball was deflected and did not go far from the goal bar.

Belenenses SAD's first framed shot came on the 22nd minute, when Lukovic, from a distance, shot low to save Samuel Portugal.

At 29′, Belenenses SAD once again created danger. Carraça made a pass to Pedro Nuno who, at first, didn't make the ball go too far from Portimonense's goal.

At half-time, there was a light show, as the Algarve inaugurated a new LED lighting, but there were also changes in the team. Paulo Sérgio removed Imbula – who was at risk of being expelled – and Marcus, bringing in Carlinhos and Aylton Boa Morte, and the Algarve improved.

In such a way that Portimonense could have extended their advantage in the 55th minute when, in a counterattack, in numerical superiority, Nakajima isolated Aponza, but Luis Filipe saved the shot and kept Belenenses SAD in the game.

At 71′, two shots of danger, one for each side. First it was Pedro Nuno who, after a corner, shot to a great save by Samuel. Following another corner, Alvinegros recovered the ball, Nakajima led the counterattack, passed to Aponza, who would be offside, but Tomás Ribeiro still prevented the ball from entering the goal.

The goal of tranquility reached the 83rd minute, when Pedro Sá, from the edge of the area, shot in a bow, with his left foot, and made it 2-0.

Portimonense knew how to hold the three points and now has 17, in the Primeira Liga, occupying the 6th place in the classification.
