A Self Defense Workshop for Women will take place at the Castro Marim Municipal Pavilion, on the 27th of November. This is an initiative of the local Chamber to mark the International Day of Non-Violence Against Women, celebrated on 25 November.
Aimed at all women, this workshop is free and takes place between 10:00 and 12:30, with trainer João Pacheco. It will, however, have a limit of 50 participants, so you must register by calling 913 090 691 or by emailing [email protected].
Enabling participants with the necessary and sufficient tools to defend their physical integrity, in order to prevent delicate and/or threatening situations, is the main objective of this initiative, organized by the Algarve Self-Defense Association – Sistema Elite DP.
The initiative has the support of the Castro Marim City Council, Leões do Sul Futebol Club, the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth, the Ju-Jitsu Federation and associated disciplines in Portugal and the Castro Marim Schools Group.
