Algarvian Association exhibition helps young adults with disabilities find work

The exhibition will take place between 10:00 and 17:00

“Eu Decide – Exhibition of Professional Practices in Rehabilitation”. This is the theme of an initiative, organized by the Algarve Association of Parents and Friends of Mentally Diminished Children (AAPACDM), which takes place on November 18th and 19th, at the premises of the former Zara, in downtown Faro.

The exhibition, financed by the National Institute for Rehabilitation, is aimed at both employers and young adults with disabilities.

The objective is “to publicize training offers in terms of rehabilitation, through practical demonstrations and workshops, also offering the community a space for dissemination and information on support and financing programs for beneficiaries and employers”, says the Algarvian Association.

The exhibition will take place between 10:00 and 17:00, with the participation of the Employment and Professional Training Institute (IEFP), the Irene Rolo Foundation (FIR), the Algarve Mental Health Association (ASMAL), Portuguese Association of Cerebral Palsy (APPC), of the Association for the Intervention and Rehabilitation of Disabled and Underprivileged Populations (EXISTIR), Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Albufeira – Espaço Bússola Training Center (SCMA) and the Lucinda Anino dos Santos Social Assistance Center (CASLAS) , with their formative responses in the area of ​​rehabilitation.

This initiative also has the support of Hotel 3HB and the company RISE.
