The Câmara de Lagoa, which organized the event, classifies the experiences that were promoted as "a success", assuring that they helped to promote "the wine tourism offer in the municipality".
As part of this event, the public had the opportunity to visit eight of the wine producers present in the municipality of Lagoa, three for each session, enjoying «different wine tourism experiences on each visit, including a moment for lunch at the wine estates».
«The launch of this cycle of wine tourism experiences was a success in this first edition, with the demand registered far in excess of the available capacity, with a total of 223 participants being registered», describes the Câmara de Lagoa.
«In addition to promoting wine, Lagoa Wine Experiences also made it possible to promote wine tourism, the hospitality of the hosts, the properties existing in the municipality, which can be visited throughout the year, and the promotion of tourist transport that enhances mobility in the region» , he adds.
The municipality says that the way in which the sessions were held met their expectations, as the municipality "recognizes the great potential of attraction that this quality offer in the region has, both for residents and tourists."

The Lagoa Wine Experiences «is part of the strategy of promoting actions to enhance the value of endogenous products, namely gastronomy and wine», with the participation of Quinta dos Santos producers, ÚNICA – Adega Cooperativa do Algarve, Morgado do Quintão, Quinta da Palmeirinha, Dona Niza Wines, Arvad Wines and Monte de Salicos.
