Futsal: Portimonense loses in Oeiras on visit to Leões de Porto Salvo

Portimonense lost by 1-4 against Leões de Porto Salvo, in a game counting for the 8th round of the Placard Futsal League, played this Saturday, November 13, in Oeiras.

This game pitted two teams in the fight for the eighth position in the table. Therefore, 40 minutes of extreme balance were expected, a factor that was demonstrated throughout the match.

Portimonense's team had several absences due to Covid-19, having presented themselves with three athletes from the formation in the game sheet.

Despite the setbacks, Portimonense never gave up, having been the first team to score, at 10 minutes into the game, with Pedro Silva, left-footed, shooting into the back of the nets defended by Bebé.

Two straight goals by Leões de Porto Salvo gave the home team confidence to hold the game better. At halftime, the result 2-1.

In the second half, Portimonense tried to equalize, but the third goal came for Leões de Porto Salvo, with Francisco Oliveira making a balloon for Rodrigo Hiroshi, having the ball still deflected on a Portimonense player before entering.

Leões took advantage of the good moment to increase the advantage and, although Portimonense still bet on the 5×4, the result remained intact until the end of the match.

With this result, Portimonense is in 10th position, while Leões de Porto Salvo rises to 8th place in the league table.

In the next round, Portimonense receives the Tram at home.
