The Sweet Potato Festival of Aljezur it starts this Friday, November 26th, and the opening ceremony, at 18 pm, will be attended by Carlos Miguel, Assistant Secretary of State and Regional Development.
Although the official opening only takes place at the end of the afternoon, the event will open its doors earlier: as early as 12:00.
After not having taken place last year, due to the pandemic, the Sweet Potato Festival, the great event in Aljezur, is back, despite still having some limitations.
One of the restrictions will be visible in the smaller amount of dining spaces on the festival grounds.
As usual, the event will feature dozens of exhibitors, namely handicrafts, sweets and other local products, which will be accompanied by traveling entertainment throughout the venue.
The Sweet Potato Festival will be open on Friday and Saturday, from 12:00 to 24:00, and on Sunday, the 28th, from 12:00 to 22:00.
