Farense tied this Monday, the 1st, with Penafiel, by 2-2, in a game of the 10th round of the II Football League, played at Estádio de São Luís, in Faro.

Not even the return home made the Algarve able to take their first victory this season, in the II League.

The marker worked for the first time, and for the northern visitors, after the 3rd minute. Following a free-kick, João Amorim shot and scored the first goal.

But Farense did not stay, and, just two minutes later, they replaced the equality, through Elves Baldé, after a cross by Amine.

Despite pressure from the Algarve, it was Penafiel who scored again (31′). Robinho watched Roberto, who shot and defeated the guardian Ricardo Velho.

At half-time, coach Fanã made changes to Farense's formation, bringing in Pedro Henrique, Bura and Loide Augusto, for Bandarra, Amine and Mayambela.

The good performance of the goalkeeper Caio Seco, of the Penafidelenses, twice prevented the players from Faro scoring, first by Abner (56′) and then by Ponde (57′).

Fanã moved the team again, to give it more sharpness, replacing Lucca with Madi Queta.

A move that eventually paid off, when Mica shot on goal, the ball bounced off center Lucas Tagliapietra, betraying Penafiel's goalkeeper Caio Seco. And so Farense scored the equalizer, on 73 minutes.

Until the end, the Algarve pressed, not always in the best possible way. In added time (90+1), Farense narrowly suffered the goal of the defeat, only prevented by Ricardo Velho, who saved a shot by Ronaldo Tavares.

With this tie, Farense is now third from bottom, in 16th place.

On the next day, on Sunday, the 7th, Fanã's team heads to Serra da Estrela, to face Sporting da Covilhã, which is 14th.
