Farense lost 0-1 against Casa Pia, in a game of the 12th round of the II Football League, played this Friday, November 26, at Estádio São Luís, in Faro.
The Algarvians entered the game well, wanting to redeem themselves from their recent defeat, against Casa Pia, in the Portuguese Cup.
As early as the 15th minute, Henrique shot hard, just outside the area, and the ball hit Ricardo Batista's goal post with a bang. Three minutes later, at 18′, there was another ball in the irons.
After a corner, Jota (Casa Pia) swerved to the post, almost scoring an own goal.
Against the current of the game, Farense suffered. At 37′, Ricardo Velho couldn't catch a cross and João Vieira headed home for Casa Pia's goal.
In the second half, Farense again had more ball, but could not equalize, despite attempts by Mica and Cristian Ponde (68′) and Madi Queta, on 80 minutes.
With this defeat, the Algarvians continue with 10 points and occupy, as a condition, in 15th place in the II League.
