The VII International Poetry in the South Meeting starts this Friday, October 15th, in a year in which the event marks the centenary of the birth of Carlos Oliveira and the bicentennial of Charles Baudelaire.
The initiative runs until the 24th, taking poets from various countries to the municipality of Olho.
For 10 days, knowledge and experiences will be shared. There will be book presentations, exhibition openings and conversations.
The City Council says that “in this 7th edition, it has sought to maintain the level of quality and diversity that this event has become accustomed to, consolidating Olhão as the International Capital of Poetry”.
