This woman was at risk of drowning, with the alert given at 12:15.
Immediately, an Amarok vehicle from the “SeaWatch” Project was activated, as well as INEM and the Albufeira Volunteer Firefighters.
«The victim was rescued to the beach by people who were in the vicinity, and the elements of INEM and the Albufeira Voluntary Fire Service provided first aid, using oxygen therapy», says the National Maritime Authority (AMN).
The elements of the “SeaWatch” Project, when they arrived at the scene, proceeded with the stabilization and transport of the victim off the beach, which is not supervised, «where an ambulance of the Albufeira Voluntary Fire Department was waiting, which transported the victim, in a conscious and stable state. , for a hospital unit», he concludes.
