Internationalization of crafts and creative tourism discussed at the seminar “Algarve Craft & Food”

Artisans, designers, agri-food producers, chefs and tourist agents are the main recipients of the seminar “Algarve Craft & Food – Internationalization of handicrafts, local food products and creative tourism”, as part of the “Algarve Craft & Food” project, which will take place on the 27th of October, from 9:30 am at the Algarve Hotel and Tourism School, in Faro.

This event "intends to contribute to the increase of skills in the internationalization of handicrafts, local food products and cultural and creative tourism in the region", according to the organization.

«The seminar aims to present cases of good national and international practices, in terms of the internationalization of cultural and creative industries, and to promote the exploitation of synergies for the creation of cultural and creative tourism programs in the Algarve», he adds.

Registration to attend the Algarve Craft & Food Seminar can now be made on the initiative's website.

The opening session is scheduled for 09:45 am and will be attended by João Fernandes, president of the Algarve Tourism Region (RTA), João Amaro, executive director of Tertúlia Algarvia, and João Ministro, from the QRER-Cooperativa for the Development of Low Density Territories, the three promoters of the “Algarve Craft & Food” project.
