A 28-year-old man, who was carrying hash in his car, was arrested this Sunday, 3 October, in Loulé.
The arrest took place "in the course of a patrol action", says the GNR.
The military of the Guard “supervised a vehicle, and the driver adopted a suspicious behavior. When approaching the driver, it was possible to detect some nervousness and immediately see a handmade baton inside the vehicle».
Inside the car were still "several fragments of hashish".
The suspect was arrested and, after police investigations, 115 doses of hashish, a precision scale, a handmade stick using five mobile phones and eight knives and material used in cutting and packaging the narcotic were seized.
The detainee has a criminal record for theft and offenses against physical integrity.
