There are over 45 cases of Covid-19 in the Algarve

Admissions went up

The Algarve registers 45 new cases of Covid-19, according to the bulletin of the Directorate-General for Health (DGS) this Friday, 29 October.

At national level, there were over 844 cases of the disease within 24 hours, as well as four deaths, three of which in Lisbon and Vale do Tejo and one in the North.

These days regions also form those that had the most new cases, 332 and 239 more, respectively. It is followed by the Center (156), the Algarve (45), the Azores (27), the Alentejo (26) and Madeira (19).

 

 

In hospitals, the number of inpatients rose to 331 (+13) and there are five more patients in intensive care (65 in total).

The risk matrix, which has been updated, takes into account the maintenance of the transferability index, or R(t), at 1,08, both nationally and taking into account only the mainland territory.

The incidence, on the other hand, has increased, is now 97,4 cases of infection by Covid-19 per 100 population, nationally, and in 97,6 cases, excluding the islands.

 

 

Today's bulletin also reports another 755 recovered. Active cases are now 31.540 (+85).

There are 22.168 cases under surveillance (+238).
