Filipe Baptista was re-elected president of the Socialist Youth (JS) of Portimão in the elections that took place this Saturday, October 30th.

The winning list, under the motto “Portimão, the Cause that Unites us”, also has the following members for the secretariat body: Henrique Tiago, Sara Nobre, Fábio Zacarias, Luana Vieira, Rodrigo Amélio, Alexandra Delgado, Miguel Correia and Márcia Marques, as effective member, and Martim Carvalho, Mariana Neto, Catarina Maio, Miguel Carvalho and Daniela Maio, as alternates.

As for the Board of the Council's Assembly, it is composed of Andreia Sousa, Catarina Sousa and Ricardo Romão, as effective members, and Gonçalo Rosa and Helena Belga, as alternates.

In a press release, JS de Portimão says that "this team is committed to the continuity of the work carried out over the last term of office".

"The commitment to political training of militants, as well as greater proximity to the associative movement in Portimão, are guidelines for the projects and actions that will be developed by JS Portimão in various areas of action that intend to continue to involve young people in the municipality", he adds. .

For Filipe Baptista, who is now assuming his second term at JS Portimão, the election of this team, which will lead the destinies of this party youth until 2023, «is an important milestone for the council, due to the motivation that each of the elements presents. to do more for the young people of Portimo, with a serious and responsible work, following what the two previous years were”.
