Farense will be able to play again at the Estádio de São Luís, after the improvements made on the pitch, announced this Monday, 25 October, the Liga.
In a statement, this entity explains that, «after the completion of the intervention to improve the pitch at the Estádio de São Luís, Farense received a positive opinion from the Technical Commission for Inspections of Liga Portugal, taking into account the positive evolution registered on the green carpet of the mythical stage of the Algarve formation».
In this way, Farense will «be able to hold their home matches again at the Estádio de São Luís, something that will happen on the 1st of November, when the team of Faro receives a visit from FC Penafiel», in a match of the II League.
Due to the prohibition of the S. Luís turf, Farense had to play a game – on the 6th round at the time – at Estádio Algarve, against Benfica B.
