Two elderly people, aged 74 and 75, who were hunting less than 250 meters from houses, were arrested this Sunday, 3 October, in Monte Ruivo (Alte), municipality of Loulé.
The men were caught hunting in “non hunting ground”, where this exercise is not allowed.
After conducting a search of the suspects, two 12 caliber firearms, 39 12 caliber cartridges, two hunter's letters and two firearm logs were seized.
The detainees were made a defendant and the facts were referred to the Judicial Court of Loulé.
