Inova Algarve 2.0 competition received 71 entries

In all categories, the prize is 5 thousand euros

The competition Inova Algarve 2.0 received 71 applications and now follows a period of analysis, announced this Monday, 4 October, the organization. 

At the end of this phase, «the accepted candidacies will be disclosed and that will go on to the next phase: Project Acceleration Laboratory».

This competition is part of the Inova Algarve 2.0 project and aims to reward the best innovative business projects developed by small and medium-sized companies in the Algarve region, enhancing the cooperation between companies in the RIS3 Algarve domains, which contribute to the development of new goods and services, to increase productivity and/or value creation capacity.

In this Contest, the contestants will be awarded the five best Innovative Projects, in each of the following categories: Tourism and Agrifood, Tourism and ICT and/or Cultural and Creative Industries, Tourism and Sea, Tourism and Health and Tourism and Renewable Energy.

In all categories, the prize is 5 thousand euros.

The Inova Algarve 2.0 project is developed, in co-promotion, by NERA – Business Association of the Algarve Region, by the University of Algarve, by AMAL – Algarve Intermunicipal Community and by Tertúlia Algarvia – Center for Knowledge in Culture and Traditional Food of the Algarve.
