The Algarve University Hospital Center (CHUA) will promote the “1st Nursing Rehabilitation Days: Transversality”, on November 22nd and 23rd, at the Algarve Hotel and Tourism School, in Faro, and through the Microsoft Teams digital platform.
These days are aimed at «promoting the professional development of nurses, in general, and specialist nurses in rehabilitation, in particular», and their motto is «highlighting the differentiated intervention and commitment that specialist nurses in rehabilitation nursing assume at the University Hospital Center of the Algarve, namely in the processes of re-adaptation of the person throughout the life cycle, with an impact on the participation in society and dignity of the people they care for», explains CHUA.
These days are also intended to "indicate the contribution of specialist nurses in rehabilitation in the empowerment and empowerment of people throughout the transition processes", as well as "reflecting on the challenges experienced and the therapeutic strategies defined by specialist nurses in rehabilitation in different contexts of clinical practice”.
The initiative also aims to “develop skills that facilitate the mobilization of knowledge, decision-making and intervention in future situations”, explains CHUA.
Registration is now open and can be made here, and must express, while filling out the form, their interest in watching online or in person, with limited attendance. Only entries made before midnight on November 24th will be considered.
Applications for free communications and abstracts must be sent to here, with the deadline for submission being 24:00 on November 12th.
