Albufeira Town Council, which met for the first time last Wednesday, October 20th, has already distributed the portfolios among councilors.
Thus, under the responsibility of José Carlos Rolo, President of the Chamber, are the areas of General Coordination and Institutional Relations, Urban Planning and Investment Support and Planning, Climate Transition, Urban Cleaning and Hygiene, Green Spaces, Culture, Tourism and Economic Activities, Network Road and Urban Transport and Public Lighting and Renewable Energies.
Vice President Cristiano Cabrita is responsible for the following areas: Sports and Youth, Associations, Communication, Public Relations, International Relations and Events, Digital Transition, Administrative Modernization, Telecommunications and Customer Service; Support to the Municipality and Consumer Protection, Maritime Affairs, Occupation of public roads, Citizenship and Participatory Budgeting, Legal and Litigation, Entrepreneurship and Environment and Advertising.
The areas of Civil Protection, Animal Health and Protection, Social Action and Social Housing, Education, Water and Sanitation, Health and Family, Human Resources, Health and Safety at Work, Training and Quality and Urban Rehabilitation are under the responsibility of Councilor Cláudia Guedelha.
In turn, Ricardo Clemente, who was the head of the PS list but allied with José Carlos Rolo (PSD), is responsible for the following areas: Toponymy; Workshops, Warehouses and Auto Park; Street Vendors, Artists and other temporary activities on public roads; Municipal Police; Safety; Cemeteries; Financial Management and Public Contracting; Applications and Financing; Fairs and Markets; Municipal Heritage; Outdoor spaces, requalification and creation.
