Pedro Correia, a citizen of Odeceixe, and his family offered a vehicle to transport patients to the Aljezur Volunteer Fire Department, as a way of recognizing the work of this corporation on behalf of the population. The symbolic delivery of the vehicle keys took place on Wednesday, the 27th.
An act that leads the direction and command of Aljezur Firefighters to leave "public praise to this family for this donation to the corporation, which will serve the entire population of the municipality of Aljezur."
José Gonçalves, mayor, was also present at the ceremony, "as recognition from the municipality of this noble gesture of an Aljezurense citizen".
