Algarve still has 80% of the population fully vaccinated against Covid-19

Nationally, 86% of the population has complete vaccination

The Algarve still has 80% of the population with full vaccination against Covid-19, while 82% took at least one dose of the vaccine, according to the report released this Tuesday, October 26, by the Directorate-General for Health (DGS) .

In the Algarve region it continues to be the most backward in terms of vaccination, having been administered, in this last week, 2368 vaccines.

In Alentejo, 87% of the population has been fully vaccinated and 88% took at least one dose, a region in which 1818 vaccines were administered.

Nationally, 86% of the population has been fully vaccinated, while 87 have at least one dose.

In numbers, 9.011.536 citizens have already been vaccinated with at least one dose, while 8.862.628 have already been fully vaccinated.

The North region continues to be the most advanced in terms of vaccination, with 89% having at least one dose and 88% having completed the process.

The Centre, similarly to Alentejo, registers 88% of the population already with complete vaccination and 87% with at least one dose.

In Lisbon and Vale do Tejo, the percentage of population with a dose is 85% and, with completed vaccination, 84%.

In the autonomous regions, Madeira has already vaccinated 84% of the population with the 1st dose and 83% of the inhabitants have already completed the vaccination, the same values ​​verified in the Azores.
